Job Description

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with organisational goals and ESG principles.
  • Oversee and manage sustainability initiatives across a complex supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability is integrated into all business operations.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance against key metrics and benchmarks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and drive positive environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability and ESG regulations and standards.
  • Identify innovative solutions to enhance sustainability across the organisation.
  • Lead and inspire a team dedicated to achieving sustainability objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Sustainability should have:

  • Proven expertise in sustainability leadership within a large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of managing and optimising complex supply chains.
  • Experience in developing and executing ESG strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant sustainability regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-driven approach to achieving sustainability goals.
