Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with housing policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Support tenants in maintaining their tenancies and signpost them to relevant support services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to address tenant needs effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data is updated on the housing management system.
  • Assist in resolving disputes and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housing initiatives and policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Housing Officer should have:

  • Previous experience within the property or housing sector.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and tenancy management.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using housing management systems or similar software.
