Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be:



  • Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts, construction and procurement matters


  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements


  • Supporting project teams with legal advice across complex, long-term programmes


  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to manage legal risk and compliance


  • Developing commercial and legal expertise through exposure to varied workstreams

The Successful Applicant

The Legal Counsel should be:



  • A solicitor with experience in commercial or public sector work


  • Comfortable drafting and negotiating commercial contracts


  • Keen to learn, develop and progress within an in-house legal environment


  • Able to provide clear, pragmatic advice to non-legal stakeholders


  • Organised, proactive and collaborative in approach
