  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance logistics performance.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Identify and manage key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational goals and targets.
  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Report on operational performance to senior stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Director should have:

  • Extensive knowledge of the transport and distribution industry.
  • A proven track record in managing logistics operations at a senior level and able to demonstrate ability to lead & operate at all levels
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies.
