Job Description

As Procurement Business Partner, duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Manage and oversee tendering processes to ensure value for money.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to optimise service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and meet procurement needs.
  • Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and policies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Business Partner should have:

  • A strong background in procurement, within the public sector.
  • PA23 Certified.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A relevant professional qualification or membership (e.g., CIPS) is desirable.
