Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, public sector regulations, and best practices.
  • Manage supplier relationships to achieve cost savings and value for money.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on procurement processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and priorities.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance and outcomes.
  • Support the development of procurement frameworks and contracts.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms with suppliers.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Business Partner should have:

  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and practices.
  • Experience in managing procurement activities and supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • A relevant professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience with Service Procurement, light touch regime or open and negotiated service requirements.
