West Midlands Permanent View Job Description
This role focuses on expanding product usage across a portfolio of IVF clinics, nurturing relationships and increasing share within established accounts. You'll manage a multi‑region territory with a strong emphasis on Ireland, driving adoption across a premium fertility product portfolio.
  • Manage a high‑growth territory across leading IVF clinics.
  • Grow share and deepen relationships within existing accounts.

About Our Client

Our client is an established medical device and life sciences organisation supporting fertility clinics with advanced consumables, culture media, capital equipment, and workflow solutions used throughout the IVF process. Known for scientific excellence and high‑quality clinical support, the company partners with NHS and private fertility centres to help improve success rates and optimise laboratory performance.

With continued investment in product innovation and growing demand for fertility treatment across the UK and Ireland, the organisation is expanding its commercial team and strengthening regional coverage to better support customer needs.

Job Description

As Territory Account Manager, you will manage a defined region spanning South Wales/Cardiff, the Midlands, and Ireland (ROI & Northern Ireland). This is a relationship‑driven role focused on growing share within existing clinics rather than acquiring brand‑new customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and nurturing relationships with a focus on increasing product adoption and cross‑portfolio usage.
  • Prioritising Ireland, where increased IVF access and rising demand have created significant growth opportunities.
  • Expanding usage within partially penetrated accounts.
  • Engaging with lab managers, embryologists, clinic owners, consultants, and fertility nursing teams.
  • Delivering scientific presentations, product training, and consultative support.
  • Working collaboratively with internal scientific and technical specialists to strengthen customer engagement.
  • Identifying gaps in current usage, recommending suitable products, and supporting clinics with best‑practice adoption.
  • Attending dinners, networking events, and social engagements with clinic leaders as part of relationship development.
  • Managing territory planning independently in a hands‑off, autonomous culture.
  • Travelling regularly across the region, with frequent visits to Ireland.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Territory Sales Manager should have:

  • A scientific or medical degree (required for scientific presentations).
  • 3-5 years of medical sales experience - capital or consumables. Experience in fertility/IVF, women's health, lab environments, or life sciences is preferred.
  • Experience selling into NHS and private healthcare environments.
  • Strong relationship‑building capability and a consultative sales style.
  • Ability to manage the region autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Sociable, team‑oriented personality fitting an outgoing, supportive team culture.

What's on Offer

Competitive salary, uncapped bonus / comission structure, car allowance & excellent benefits package.
