Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Warehouse Supervisor - Nights to support operations at their Slough site.

Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor - Nights will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse during night operations. You will be responsible for overseeing warehouse activities, managing a team of operatives, and ensuring freight is processed efficiently and safely to meet operational deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the night shift warehouse team to ensure operational targets are achieved
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements in line with transport schedules
  • Ensuring all goods are handled, sorted, and dispatched accurately
  • Monitoring productivity, workflow, and staff performance during the shift
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and warehouse compliance
  • Investigating and resolving operational issues or delays during the night shift
  • Communicating effectively with transport, operations, and day shift teams to ensure continuity
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
  • Ensuring accurate scanning, documentation, and freight tracking

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a strong background in warehouse or freight operations and experience supervising teams within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role
  • Experience within freight, parcel, or logistics distribution environments
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-critical operation
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes, scanning systems, and freight handling
  • Knowledge of health & safety procedures within warehouse environments
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work permanent night shifts
