Strategic Sourcing Manager - Aerospace - Blackburn

This role will focus on 'procurement best practice' and 'supplier relationship management of global packaging suppliers and new product introduction.

This role will manage a large and complex spend across a variety of packaging products, while working with a broad range of internal stakeholders including NPD, marketing, sales and finance.

In this role, you will be expected to be on-site 2 days per week and some UK travel will be required.

This role will be part of the commodity strategy team. You will undertake analytical work, looking at factors that affect pricing, the reporting this back to the relevant teams and sourcing managers. You will work directly with a wide range of stakeholders from finance, procurement, quality and marketing, to ensure they have the relevant information for each commodity. 2 or 3 days in the Hertfordshire office

The role is responsible for creating effective sourcing strategies that best meet stakeholder needs, as well as the project management of the related sourcing initiatives that are required to implement the strategy and ensure that the expected benefits are realised.
