Job Description

  • Process and manage supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting requirements.
  • Communicate and build relationships with suppliers to address queries and payment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Coordinator should have:

  • Relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting and finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
