Job Description

  • Preparation of statutory and annual accounts from records supplied by a range of clients .
  • Manage client accounts and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and provide tax advice to clients.
  • Support the development and maintenance of client relationships.
  • Oversee junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

  • A recognised qualification in accounting or a related field (ACCA/ACA).
  • Proficient in the preparation of statutory and annual accounts for a variety of clients including SMEs and limited companies under UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (UK GAAP), primarily FRS 102.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
