AP Manager

Payment Performance

· Monitor and proactively drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) including, payment performance, touchless ratios and discrepancies.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline AP workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy.

· Act as escalation point for supplier issues, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and root causes are addressed.

· Maintain strong communication with key suppliers to build trust and reliability in the payment process.

· Lead initiatives to improve supplier experience, such as reducing delayed payments or invoice disputes.

Leadership and Team Development

· Lead, coach and motivate a high‑performing AP team, setting clear expectations for service delivery.

· Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews to support development.

· Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and strong communication.

Month-end

· Lead the AP month-end financial close, ensuring compliance with all reporting deadlines, and contributing to the 18-month cashflow forecast.

Stakeholder Engagement

· Work closely with Procurement, Finance Operations, and the wider business functions to ensure alignment on purchasing processes and compliance.

· Provide accurate reporting and insights to senior finance leaders on payment performance and improvement actions.
