Job Description

  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
  • Monitor budgets and expenditure to provide accurate financial data to the team.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Handle payroll-related tasks and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with audit preparations and respond to any related queries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working in financial roles within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
