Job Description

  • Assist the design team in developing creative concepts and designs for fashion products.
  • Produce high quality detailed technical packs
  • Strong CAD and technical skills
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Support in creating technical sketches and specifications for production.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and inspiration for new designs.
  • Maintain accurate records of design projects and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers when required.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the design team through creative input and teamwork.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Designer should have:

  • Previous design experience working for a supplier to UK high street brands (min 1-2 years)
  • Proficiency in design software and technical skills relevant to the role.
  • Great portfolio and strong eye for commercial trend direction
  • An understanding of the FMCG industry and its fast-paced nature.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • A passion for creative design and innovation.
