Job Description

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Plan and oversee audit assignments, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients on accounting and tax matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, assisting with their professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements in all client engagements.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather financial data and address any queries.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client services and contribute to business growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to both clients and senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit & Accounts Senior should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting, auditing, and tax regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
