Job Description

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for a variety of clients.
  • Conduct audits from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and manage expectations throughout the audit process.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to ensure their professional development.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide a seamless client service.
  • Ensure all work is completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge in auditing and accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in audit and accounts preparation within the professional services industry.
