The firm has built a strong reputation across the North West, especially within the education sector, where it has been highly successful in tender processes and continues to secure work from larger, private‑equity-backed firms.

Growth in the education sector has been significant, and the firm is now seeking an experienced Audit Manager to support and further develop this expanding portfolio.

Job Description



As Audit Manager, you will:

  • Lead audits for multi‑academy trusts, colleges, and other education-sector clients
  • Manage and develop a dedicated audit team
  • Oversee planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit assignments
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to tenders, proposals, and business development
  • Play a key role in supporting continued growth of the education sector offering



You'll have the opportunity to work closely with partners, influence the direction of the team, and drive high‑quality service delivery.

The Successful Applicant



You will ideally have:

  • Significant audit experience, with a strong understanding of education sector requirements
  • Experience working with multi‑academy trusts and/or FE colleges
  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and motivate an audit team



This role would suit someone currently in an Audit Manager position-or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready for the next step.
