Continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Business Services Director to join the senior leadership team and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the practice.

Job Description

  • Mentor and support team members, fostering professional development and growth.Leading a substantial portfolio of business services clients across a variety of sectors.
  • Acting as the primary relationship lead for key clients and business owners.
  • Reviewing and approving statutory accounts and financial reporting assignments.
  • Providing commercial, accounting and business advisory support to clients.
  • Leading client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting clients with growth planning, profitability improvement and strategic decision-making.
  • Driving service excellence and ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery.
  • Managing departmental workflow, resource planning and team performance.
  • Developing and mentoring Managers and Senior Managers.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and additional advisory services.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and winning new client work.
  • Working alongside the Partners to support the firm's strategic objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Significant experience gained within UK accountancy practice.
  • Proven track record of managing a substantial client portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and business services delivery.
  • Experienced in leading teams and developing future leaders.
  • Commercially minded with strong business development capabilities.
  • Able to build trusted relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers.
  • Confident presenting complex financial matters in a practical and understandable manner.
  • Ambitious and motivated to contribute at a senior leadership level.
