Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements and oversee month-end and year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Support the preparation of audit materials and liaise with external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Experience working within the not-for-profit industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
