Job Description

* Work with the business development team on new business opportunities, undertaking project appraisal modelling as required; provide insight on project returns, and, where appropriate, make suggestions on how returns can be improved.

* Lead on forecasting/modelling.

* Monitor business performance.

* Maintain and administer the investment appraisal mode

* Lead on the creation of investment committee papers, taking input from other departments where necessary.

* Track project performance, seeking opportunities to protect or enhance commercial performance; Prepare periodic reports

* Assist in financial due diligence on M&A opportunities.

Provide insight to the Finance team to assist with the monthly variance analysis commentary

The Successful Applicant

To be considered you should have:* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills

* Deep understanding of the renewable energy sector ; Commercial experience including contract execution.

* Evaluating financial and business indicators to translate data into actionable information

* Building constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders

* Proven track record of reporting deliverables to senior stakeholders
