Job Description

The duties of the Control and Reconciliations Executive include:

  • Owning and performing key reconciliations across loan administration systems and banking records
  • Ensuring accuracy of financial data and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Reviewing financial and operational data for completeness and integrity
  • Monitoring and maintaining effective financial and operational controls
  • Supporting regulatory and internal reporting requirements
  • Collaborating with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate data management
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and control
  • Strengthening existing controls and reducing operational risk
  • Supporting automation initiatives, with a focus on advanced Excel and data tools

The Successful Applicant

A successful Control and Reconciliations Executive should have experience in financial operations, accounting, or a lending environment, with a strong grounding in reconciliations and data analysis. You should be detail-oriented, analytically strong, and comfortable investigating discrepancies across multiple systems. A proactive mindset, solid Excel skills, and an interest in process improvement are essential, with professional qualifications (or progress towards them) viewed favourably.
