About Our Client

This opportunity is with a well established, industry leading company operating within the industrial/manufacturing sector. The organisation is known for its focus on innovation and providing high-quality products and services to its clients. They are now looking to add a Costing Coordinator to their team on a 9 to 12 - month fixed term contract basis, working at their site in Birmingham.

Job Description

  • Load and prioritise RFQs into internal systems (ERP/CRM).
  • Produce accurate costings using cross‑functional data.
  • Apply smart pricing principles and maintain target GM%.
  • Raise price requests and internal support tickets when required.
  • Load customer orders into ERP/CRM and issue order acknowledgements.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the order cycle.
  • Keep accurate records of quotations, orders, and customer interactions.
  • Manage inbox and phone queries, resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide updates to Account Managers and share customer feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Assist internal sales leadership with reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Support the Q2O (quote‑to‑order) process to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Maintain departmental SOPs and participate in cross‑functional improvement projects.
  • Contribute to wider business initiatives as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Costing Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in a sales support, costing, or customer service role within manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator able to work across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
