Job Description

  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and ensure compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding their healthcare needs.
  • Lead and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the pharmacy meets all operational and performance targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure efficient stock management processes.
  • Promote health and wellbeing services to the local community.
  • Support continuous professional development within the team.
  • Part time role, working 30 hours over 5 days.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Deputy Pharmacist Manager should have:

  • A degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage a pharmacy team and support business goals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Experience in a retail or healthcare environment is advantageous.
