Job Description

As the Distribution Centre Manager you will,

  • Oversee the daily operations of the distribution centre in West Yorkshire, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team to achieve operational goals, as the operation experiencing significant growth
  • Manage inventory control procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
  • Ensure the supply chain is able to grow with site demands
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational workflows and reduce costs.
  • Review capacity and work with stakeholders to ensure investment projects happen in a timely manner to enable growth (this will include headcount increase, training, systems development, facilities review, automation viability, expansion)

The Successful Applicant

A successful Distribution Centre Manager should have:

  • A proven track record managing a busy warehouse / DC through growth, and ensuring the operation can scale inline with growing sales
  • Comprehensive knowledge of distribution centre operations and inventory management
  • Proven leader managing teams through growth providing training and development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise processes and resolve challenges.
  • Ability to balance operational and strategy priorities to future proof the site
