We are working with a high growth personal investment and asset manager who are looking to hire an Events Marketing Manager into their fast paced team in London. This role will report to the Marketing Director and will be responsible for the high volume events plan for the business.Role is based in London in a hybrid working arrangement.

About Our Client

The client are a high growth, highly successful asset manager with a focus on Exchange Traded Funds. They are looking to hire an Events Manager to come on board and lead their busy events programme across the UK and Europe.

This role is being created to help scale the delivery of our events and webinar activity and ensure the programme continues to run efficiently as the business grows. The successful candidate will work very closely with the existing events and webinar lead, as well as the wider Marketing and Sales teams, to plan, promote and execute the full calendar of in-person and virtual events. The structure of the team will evolve with the growth of the business, but this role will be central to the day-to-day delivery of the events programme and will collaborate closely with colleagues across marketing, sales and product to ensure all activity is delivered to a consistently high standard.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Events Marketing Manager:

  • Support the planning and execution of the company's proprietary events including conferences, roadshows, roundtables and webinars
  • Coordinate all logistics including venue sourcing, booking, catering, AV, registration, travel and on-site delivery
  • Manage timelines, budgets and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate with venues and vendors to secure favourable terms
  • Shared responsibility to maintain and own the central events calendar
  • Third-party conferences and sponsorships
  • Coordinate company participation in external conferences and industry events
  • Manage sponsorship deliverables, booth logistics and branding
  • Liaise with organisers to secure and schedule speaking opportunities
  • Coordinate attendance lists and meeting schedules for the sales team



Speaker and stakeholder coordination

  • Liaise with portfolio managers/ investment experts and other senior stakeholders to secure participation at events and webinars
  • Coordinate speaker schedules, briefing materials and rehearsal sessions
  • Manage travel and logistics for speakers where required
  • Ensure alignment between marketing, sales and product teams



Marketing and promotion

  • Create and manage event invitations using Pardot
  • Support email campaigns and registration journeys
  • Promote events across LinkedIn and other social channels
  • Upload and track leads in Salesforce



Event execution and reporting

  • Support on-site delivery of events
  • Manage attendee registration and engagement
  • Track attendance and leads
  • Produce post-event reports including ROI and feedback
  • Ensure timely follow-up with sales teams



Collateral and inventory management

  • Maintain inventory of event merchandise and marketing collateral
  • Coordinate production and shipping of materials
  • Ensure event kits are prepared in advance
  • Track stock levels and reorder when needed



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Events Marketing Manager:

  • 1-3 years experience managing events
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with senior investment professionals
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce preferred
  • Experience supporting B2B financial services events preferred
