About Our Client

Our client is at an exciting stage in their journey; they posted record profits last year, with a number of exciting projects in the pipeline for 2026. They're currently in the process of re-building their finance function to prepare them for the next phase of growth, and are looking for hard-working, ambitious junior analysts who are keen to increase their exposure to the full accounting and reporting cycle.

Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to guide financial planning.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage financial operations and reporting.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies for the organisation.
  • Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Previous experience in an analytical, commercial role for 1-3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exposure to forecasting & budgeting cycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
