A well‑established business with sites across the UK is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support its Deeside operation on a temporary basis until end of 2026. This role requires strong Sage 50 experience, and immediate start.

This is a small/medium enterprise. You'll be working closely with the Finance Controller, who oversees multiple UK entities. They are looking for a temporary Finance Assistant for their busy, fast‑moving environment where accuracy, reliability, and good foundational finance knowledge are essential.

Job Description

The Finance Assistant duties include:

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and loading payment runs
  • Posting transactions and supporting double-entry accounting
  • Assisting with month-end tasks
  • General ad‑hoc finance duties as required



The Successful Applicant

The successful Finance Assistant would have:

  • Immediately availability
  • Strong double-entry knowledge
  • Sage/Sage 50 knowledge
  • Confident with posting, reconciliations, and payment processing
  • Ability to work to deadlines
