Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsCompetitive Salary and BenefitsSuccessful well established organisationAbout Our ClientOur client is committed to delivering excellence through efficient financial management and operations.Job DescriptionAssist in producing monthly financial accounts for each of our overseas entities and delivering accurate, fully supported financial information for all balance sheet categories for inclusion in the Group Accounts each month.In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our international financial operations, aligning with the company's values, and contributing to the efficient and effective functioning of the Finance team.Assist wuth Produce monthly financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations for all overseas entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and full third-party support.Assist with monthly inter-company reconciliations and support transfer pricing requirements across overseas operations.Prepare VAT returns, coordinating with overseas agents to ensure timely submissions, payments, and refunds.Support external audits by preparing statutory accounts, providing required documentation, and guiding auditors efficiently.Provide technical support to the Junior Accountant and contribute to wider finance projects as needed.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field, plus a recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA)Experience in financial accounting and reporting, including preparing financial statements and VAT returnsUnderstanding of VAT regulations, auditing processes, and the ability to support external audits efficientlyProficient in accounting software and data extraction, with advanced Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills for working with overseas agents, auditors, and internal teamsAble to collaborate effectively, and contribute to finance projects as requiredAdaptable, deadline-driven, and committed to continuous learning, integrity, and the company's valuesExperience in multinational environments or working with overseas entities is advantageousExperience with Belgium GAAP is highly desirableWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000.Fixed-term contract offering stability and growth opportunities.Comprehensive pension scheme.Engaging and professional company culture.This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to contribute to the financial success of a respected company within the transport & distribution industry.
