Job Description

  • Qualified accountant with 1-3 years of relevant PQE (or high-potential finalist)
  • Experience in the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts, reporting and forecasting.
  • Expert-level Xero knowledge.
  • Experience of driving AI integration within the Financial Reporting function.
  • Demonstrable advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisation.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Computer literacy and application of accounting principles are paramount to ensuring appropriate controls are in place within the underlying computer systems.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
  • Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant (Temp cover) should have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a temporary role.
