Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts to aid strategic planning.
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial data.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial standards.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
