Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all financial operations within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies and policies.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial efficiency and cost control.
  • Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
