Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow and funding requirements.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial systems and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Supervise and guide the accounting team for optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance within a not-for-profit or similar organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
