Job Description

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand key performance drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Produce monthly management reports, executive dashboards, and Board reporting, providing clear analysis of financial performance against budget, forecast, prior year, and KPIs.
  • Deliver actionable insights into business performance, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Financial Control to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to operational, commercial, and functional leaders, providing financial challenge and strategic support.
  • Prepare financial models, business cases, investment appraisals, and profitability analysis to support commercial and strategic initiatives.
  • Present financial performance and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and enhance Workday Adaptive Planning, maintaining planning models, assumptions, reporting structures, and business drivers.
  • Drive improvements in management reporting, planning processes, and data quality through automation and enhanced analytics.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance
  • Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using Power BI.
