Job Description

  • Manage the organisation's financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Advise senior leadership on financial strategies and risk management.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage the organisation's financial resources effectively.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organisational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Proven experience in financial leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
