Job Description

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to optimise profitability and efficiency.
  • Oversee the preparation of management reports and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement across the organisation.
  • Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and support key projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of FP&A should have:

  • A strong background in accounting or finance, preferably with relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within the FMCG industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing and developing teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives.
