Job Description

  • Define and communicate IT strategy, objectives and roadmap aligned to business goals
  • Act as senior IT business partner, owning end-to-end demand to delivery lifecycle
  • Lead application management, support and delivery using Agile and ITIL-aligned models
  • Drive IT landscape simplification, standardisation and regional harmonisation
  • Ensure high availability, performance and security of business-critical applications
  • Oversee IT operations, escalation management and service quality assurance
  • Manage IT budgets across run, change and project portfolios
  • Lead supplier and partner relationships to ensure value, compliance and performance
  • Identify and mitigate IT, security and operational risks
  • Build, manage and develop a high-performing IT leadership and delivery team



The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of IT should have:

    • Degree in Information Technology, Business Computer Science or related discipline
    • 5+ years' experience in IT consulting or senior IT leadership roles
    • Strong understanding of IT architectures, infrastructure and enterprise platforms
    • Advanced knowledge of Cloud technologies, DevOps, APIs, IAM and open-source solutions
    • Proven experience delivering complex IT transformation and change programmes
    • Strong background in IT Service Management and Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban)
    • Experience with vendor management, budget ownership and commercial negotiation
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and strategic thinking skills
