Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective transport solutions to meet business needs.
  • Lead and manage a team focused on logistics and transport strategy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the development of cost-effective and sustainable transport initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Analyse data to optimise operational performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on transport strategies and outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies to enhance logistics operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Transport Solutions Development should have:

  • Proven expertise in transport and distribution solutions design within the logistics sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing cost-effective transport solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Experience using Paragon or similar transport tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.



What's on Offer

  • Salary of £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Company Car or £7,000 car allowance.
  • 15% bonus.
  • Permanent position based preferably in the Northwest, West Midlands or East midlands.
  • Hybrid role mixing time in the office, depot network and customer locations
