Job Description

  • Manage and support tenants with their housing needs and concerns.
  • Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and address any issues promptly.
  • Respond to tenant enquiries and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out property inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments to coordinate services and support for tenants.
  • Handle tenancy agreements and ensure proper documentation is in place.
  • Provide advice and assistance on housing-related matters to tenants.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Housing Officer should have:

  • Experience in housing management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and tenancy management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Competence in using relevant IT systems and software.
  • A proactive approach to managing tenant relationships and property issues.

What's on Offer

  • Hourly pay between £17.00 and £21.00, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract based in Salford.
