Job Description

  • Administer HR processes including benefits, headcount reporting, time and attendance, HR system updates and personnel records
  • Manage onboarding, probation and exit processes
  • Collate and submit payroll changes (starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, pensions, benefits)
  • Process maternity, paternity, adoption and other family leave documentation
  • Monitor and record absence, advising managers on Occupational Health referrals where appropriate
  • Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees
  • Deliver training and support on HR systems
  • Support HR projects, programmes and business initiatives
  • Maintain document retention systems in line with company policy
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and current UK employment legislation

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • Proven HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of operational HR processes and payroll collation
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Confident advising and supporting line managers
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience handling absence management and family leave processes
  • Strong HR systems capability
  • Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information
  • Spanish language skills would be advantageous
