Job Description

The Interim Accounts Payable will;

  • Process and verify invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment to suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and update financial systems regularly.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
  • Respond to supplier queries and maintain professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Support the accounts payable team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Accounts Payable professional should have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
