Job Description

  • Draft, negotiate, revise and continually improve a wide variety of contracts, playbooks, documents, and legal instruments, including Master Services Agreements, Framework Agreements, Services Agreement, SaaS Agreements and various other agreements.
  • Ensure the company is not exposed to unnecessary contractual and/or commercial risk by following and continually improving internal governance and controls
  • Ensure the company is not exposed to unnecessary contractual and/or commercial risk by following and implementing Group Mandatory Contractual Practices as well as other governance frameworks and controls.
  • Acting as an operational lead in supporting junior team members to further their professional development.
  • Lead and advise stakeholders across the region, on wide range of contractual and commercial matters.
  • Actively promote services provided by the Legal team, identifying future opportunity for growth and expansion.
  • Educate business stakeholders on contractual templates, best practices, playbooks, legal risks, management and governance.
  • Interpret key contractual provisions considering the Company's business objectives and accepted risks levels, as well as applicable legal and/or compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent with at least 4 years' experience of working in a multinational commercial environment.
  • Solid experience in commercial contracts (UK and Europe), in-house compliance, internal/external audit and/or risk management in a Global/ Multinational businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of contracting, commercial and financial concepts, change and project management.
  • Working knowledge of Commercial and Contracts Law (UK and Europe) with experience of managing and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, unsupervised, influencing followership leadership.
  • Fluent Spanish or Italian written and spoken proficiency is highly desirable.

  • Based on a day rate equalling £60,000-£70,000 per annum
