Job Description

  • Provide financial support and analysis to aid strategic decision-making within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to create and monitor budgets effectively.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts and reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, offering solutions to optimise performance.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the implementation of financial processes and systems improvements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial queries within the organisation.
  • Provide training and guidance on financial matters to non-finance staff as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven experience within the not-for-profit sector or similar environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with non-financial stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
