The role will join the business at their offices in the Scunthorpe / Doncaster area, and will lead an internal sales & service function along with the review & implementation of new processes and proceduresJob DescriptionLead are review and improvement of standard operating procedures and processes across the internal sales & service departmentProvide the Internal Sales & Service function with clear leadership, guidance & support to help achieve business objectivesEnsure customer are provided with a world class service during each interaction both over the phone & via emailIncrease Sales Conversion rates through quotations, ensuring quotations are followed up on and key decision making information is capturedBest utilise CRM system to understand customer interaction, customer demand and feedbackUse all available data sources to ensure information led decision can be made across the department to increase customer satisfaction, sales uptake and operational efficiencyDrive profit margins on quotations through healthy negotiations across the team and through strong customer relationshipsCreate and present reports to the board based on internal sales activity, customer behaviour and operational performanceWork across the wider business areas including Supply Chain, Sales, Production & Logistics to drive improvements across all touch points leading to better outcomes for customers, increased efficiency and improved commercial performanceThe Successful ApplicantLeadership of a similar Internal Sales / Service FunctionStrong commercial acumenExperience driving process improvementExtensive stakeholder management knowledgeWhat's on OfferThe Internal Sales & Service Manager role will join an industry leading business based in Scunthorpe / DoncasterWorking Monday to Friday with a 1-30pm finish on a Friday.
