This is an Investment Assistant role supporting the research and portfolio management team through data analysis, reporting and preparation of investment materials. The position provides exposure to multi-asset investing while assisting with research packs, client presentations and portfolio modelling.

Job Description

The duties of the Investment Assistant include:

  • Producing high-quality meeting packs containing investment data, charts and research
  • Supporting economic and company research across multiple asset classes
  • Assisting with portfolio allocation summaries and portfolio modelling
  • Preparing client presentations for Board and Committee meetings
  • Contributing to market overview commentaries and ad hoc analytical projects
  • Working closely with portfolio managers to deliver accurate and timely reporting

The Successful Applicant

  • A graduate with a strong academic background in finance, economics or a related discipline, or up to two years' relevant experience
  • Broad familiarity with financial markets and statistics
  • Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and the wider MS Office suite
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Eikon or eVestment would be advantageous
  • Able to manage deadlines effectively, communicate clearly and demonstrate commercial awareness
