The organisation is committed to leveraging technology to enhance its operations and provide value to its stakeholders.Job DescriptionManage and maintain IT environments to ensure system reliability and performance.Coordinate with internal teams to implement technology solutions aligned with organisational goals.Oversee the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of IT systems and applications.Identify and address potential risks and issues within the IT environment.Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address IT requirements.Develop and maintain documentation for IT environment processes and configurations.Provide guidance and support to team members on IT environment-related matters.Familiarity with monitoring, alerting or reporting tools that support operational visibilityAn understanding of automated cloud infrastructure tooling, ideally including TerraformA good understanding of Microsoft license , cost optimization and governance practicesExperience across a broad range of Microsoft 365, Azure, web development, integration, CRM/ERP and security technologies, including device management, data analytics platforms, modern web frameworks, enterprise workflow tools, customer engagement platforms and cloud infrastructure servicesThe Successful ApplicantA successful IT Environment Manager should have:A strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure management.Proven experience in managing IT environments within the public sector or similar industries.Knowledge of relevant policies, standards, and compliance requirements.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
