Job Description

  • Create innovative and trend-led designs for menswear and boyswear categories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand and customer expectations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about current and upcoming trends.
  • Prepare detailed technical packs for production and liaise with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support the senior design team in delivering seasonal collections.
  • Review samples and provide constructive feedback to ensure final designs are market-ready.
  • Maintain an organised workflow to meet tight deadlines and project timelines.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the brand's presence in the menswear and boyswear markets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Designer - Menswear + Boyswear (Shape) should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Experience or strong interest in designing for menswear and boyswear categories.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • An understanding of current fashion trends and the ability to translate them into commercial designs.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
