Job Description

  • Review and assess land titles, utility data, and associated property matters covering England, and Wales.
  • Prepare and negotiate key property documentation such as options, leases, easements, exclusivity arrangements, and access agreements.
  • Drive negotiations forward efficiently, maintaining momentum to completion while identifying where flexibility can be applied without compromising core requirements.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including landowners, agents, and legal representatives, to progress agreements within target time frames while maintaining oversight of associated professional costs.
  • Ensure land rights are properly formalised and registered, with documentation maintained to a standard suitable for future transactions or funding processes.
  • Provide guidance on property-related legal matters to support the wider team and project objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel - Property should have:

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 year's experience focused on commercial property law
  • Solid grounding across a broad range of property matters
  • Demonstrated capability in managing intricate or high-value property transactions from start to finish
  • A driven, accountable approach to work, with the confidence to take initiative and manage responsibilities independently while also contributing effectively within a team setting
