Job Description

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the production team to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Participate in regular inspections and audits to ensure optimal operational standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in an engineering environment.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programmes and techniques.
