Job Description

  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
  • Provide technical support during production shifts, including nights and weekends.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working within the FMCG or a similar production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices within an engineering context.
  • Willingness to work a 3 on 3 off rotating shift pattern, including days and nights.
