Job Description

  • Produce, review, and present monthly management reporting packs, including detailed loan analysis, cashflow forecasts, revenue insights, and other essential financial performance metrics.
  • Oversee intercompany accounting, ensuring accurate postings and timely reconciliation of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet items.
  • Manage daily treasury functions, including cashbook entries, bank reconciliations, and day‑to‑day monitoring of cash positions.
  • Provide analytical and strategic support to senior finance leadership across tax planning, project work, cashflow management, and other financial initiatives.
  • Assist in the financial control and reporting of property‑related portfolios, including the tracking and forecasting of associated cashflows.
  • Process and maintain Sales and Purchase Ledger transactions, ensuring data integrity and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Perform reconciliations across all key ledgers - Nominal, Sales, and Purchase - ensuring completeness and accuracy within required deadlines.
  • Deliver a range of administrative and operational finance tasks, such as mail handling, document organisation, system backups, and general office support.
  • Prepare annual Self Assessment schedules for multiple individuals, ahead of review by senior finance leadership.
  • Act as the main point of coordination for external audits, managing information requests and helping ensure an efficient and well‑structured audit process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience working in a Family Office or Financial Services.
  • Demonstrates strong management accounting skills and a solid understanding of key accounting principles.
  • Communicates confidently and clearly, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Possesses a strong foundation in double‑entry bookkeeping and is highly competent in Excel.
  • Displays high levels of diligence, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Brings experience working within a finance‑focused environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Adapts well to changing priorities and is comfortable managing a varied workload.
  • Shows a proactive, self‑motivated approach with a willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of responsibilities
