Job Description

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain robust budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and controls.
  • Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to organisational policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Proven experience in management accounting within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
